about us
Our story begins in the late 1970s when my father, master butcher Sven Jacobsen, set out to make charcuterie that truly stood out. It was crafted with care, shaped by experience and driven by pride in every detail.
At a time when few offered both bacon and ham in convenient 100 g packs as well as larger formats, his innovative spirit laid the foundation for what would become our family’s lifelong passion.
A decade later I, Dennis Jacobsen, joined my father in the business. Together we expanded production, always guided by the same principles: quality, craftsmanship and respect for tradition. By 2006, after many rewarding years and three thriving plants, we had built something remarkable and were ready for the next chapter.
In 2009 I founded Delicious Food, carrying forward our family heritage into a new era. Just a few years later we built our modern charcuterie factory in Skurup, designed to combine artisanal methods with advanced food technology.
Today, Delicious Food remains a proud family company. Our products, sold under the Fam. Jacobsen and Delicious Food brands, embody the same values my father started with: honesty, craftsmanship and exceptional taste.
